Genmaicha is a traditional Japanese green tea blended with toasted brown rice, known as genmai. Our Organic Genmaicha combines organic kamairicha (pan-fired green tea) from Miyazaki with Japanese-grown toasted genmai. Its distinctive toasty, savoury profile carries a nostalgic, popcorn-like aroma and flavour — bold yet comforting. A timeless classic that brings warmth and familiarity with every sip.

How to Prepare

Tea leaves: 4g
Hot water: 100°C, 120ml approx
Brew time: 30 sec

Brew for up to 2 times.

Tips

Pour out the tea until the very last drop.
For the second brew, pour immediately after adding hot water.
Using soft water is generally recommended for Japanese tea. If you live in a hard water area, try filtering the water before boiling it.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, keep tightly sealed to avoid contact with air and odour.
