Giulia Cosenza x MATSU-CHA | Matcha Whisking Bowl & Whisk Holder TOTEM

In collaboration with the talented ceramic artist Giulia Cosenza, this art set includes a beautiful handcrafted matcha whisking bowl and chasen naoshi, the bamboo whisk holder. All pieces are wheel-thrown and entirely handmade by Giulia at her atelier in Rotterdam.

Under the name “Domestic Totems” she transforms objects of daily use into beautifully designed artworks, items of use with a sculptural presence. Her precision and design skill in constructing the abstract shapes into beautiful, functional sculptures are simply breathtaking.

The two pieces function separately as a whisk holder and whisking bowl, but when not in use, they can be stacked together to form a beautiful sculptural totem.
