At MATSU-CHA, we are dedicated to offering a carefully curated range of matcha that celebrates the rich diversity of Japanese tea culture. Over the course of a year, we developed three signature blends, each crafted to highlight the distinct characteristics of its terroir, cultivar, and growing methods—whether organic or non-organic.

The Complete Bundle is a set of all three of our Signature Range matchas in 20g pouches. This is a perfect way to explore all of our signature MATSU matchas, with the added benefit of a bundled discount.

What’s Included:

• MATSU matcha No.001: Wazuka blend — 20g
Perfect for everyday use, an excellent balance of umami and a touch of bitterness.

• MATSU matcha No.002: Kirishima blend — 20g
Light and refreshing with a layer of umami—perfect matcha for those beginning their matcha journey.

• MATSU matcha No.003: Premium Uji blend— 20g
Made exclusively from hand-picked leaves, smooth and refined like no other.

How to Prepare

Usucha

Matcha: 2g

Cold water: approx 10ml (enough to make a paste)

Hot water: 80-90°C, approx 60ml

Additional hot water (*optional): 0-50ml (adjust to your liking)

  1. Sift the matcha into a bowl
  2. Mix in the cold water and use a chasen (bamboo whisk) to make a thick paste.*Make sure there are no clumps in the paste.
  3. Pour the hot water into the bowl and whisk vigorously until matcha is fully dispersed.
  4. Add extra hot water to your liking.
  5. Enjoy!

Matcha Latte

Matcha: 2-3g

Cold water: approx 10ml (enough to make a paste)

Hot water: 80-90°C, approx 30ml

Steamed milk of your choice: 180ml (adjust to your liking)

  1. Sift the matcha into a bowl
  2. Mix in the cold water and use a chasen (bamboo whisk) to make a thick paste.*Make sure there are no clumps in the paste.
  3. Pour the hot water into the bowl and whisk vigorously until matcha is fully dispersed.
  4. Pour the steamed milk (or warm milk if you don’t have a steamer) into your matcha mix. Our favourite is oat milk!
    * For an iced matcha latte, pour the matcha mix into a glass of cold milk, ideally with lots of ice.
  5. Enjoy!
Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, keep tightly sealed to avoid contact with air and odour.
